Notary Information

Understanding the Role of Notary

A notary is a legal professional who plays a crucial role in verifying and certifying documents, signatures, and identities. Notaries help prevent fraud and ensure document authenticity. Notaries do not provide documents or can provide legal advice. That is what lawyers are for.  A part of a notary's job is to ensure the signee is signing under his/her own free will and to ensure that they understand what they are signing. So, if you are escorting a signee do not be offended if you are asked to leave the room.

Notarial Acts

Notaries must adhere to strict guidelines and regulations to maintain the integrity of documents such as power of attorneys, wills, custody documents, Authorization for medical treatment of a minor, Travel authorization of a minor, medical authorizations, vehicle titles and MORE!!

Certify Identity

Notarial acts provide assurance that documents are legitimate and can be trusted in court. We will check every government issued ID and compare it to the person who is requesting notarization. Be prepared to have two ID's, one with a picture.

Official Stamp

Notaries play a crucial role in upholding the law and protecting the public interest. We have an official ink stamp and and embosser if needed.
